MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Santee Cooper is accepting applications for transmission line technicians for current and future job openings and invites interested candidates to learn more about the position and its requirements at one of two informational sessions.

Santee Cooper transmission line technicians assist in the inspection, maintenance, operation, construction and testing of transmission and fiber optic lines and substations on high-voltage electrical systems. The anticipated start date for these openings begin in mid-December, and the work areas will include Aiken, Batesburg, Bluffton, Blythewood, Conway, Darlington, Hemingway, Moncks Corner, Orangeburg, Pinewood, and Varnville.
