MONCKS CORNER, S.C. –Santee Cooper has announced its spring and summer hours for the Pinopolis Lock at the Jefferies Hydroelectric Station on Lake Moultrie. Effective Sunday, March 10, the lock will be operated from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or 30 minutes before sunset, whichever is earlier).

Santee Cooper will continue to perform fish lifts at the lock several times per day until May 1.

Please remember that the lock does not operate during thunderstorms or rough-water conditions. Occasionally, it is necessary to take the lock out of service for periodic maintenance or repair. If you have a large party of boats you are encouraged to call in advance. The telephone number is 843-899-LOCK (5625).
