Camp Hall Ranks No. 7 in Industrial Parks in the Nation, according to Business Facilities Magazine

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Camp Hall broke into the Top 10 and was named the No. 7 best industrial park in the nation in Business Facilities Magazine’s 16th annual Rankings Report, the magazine’s annual assessment of economic development and location leaders. Also notable, Camp Hall, which is located in the greater Charleston, South Carolina, area, was the only park in the Southeast to make the list.

Readiness is an essential aspect of Camp Hall with water, power, sewer and fiber all onsite, and gas underway. Camp Hall provides specific site-development opportunities ranging from 7 to 600 acres for sale. Volvo Car USA established its first North American manufacturing plant at Camp Hall in 2018 and is already expanding with an office complex on a 100-acre site. By offering a wide range of parcel sizes, Camp Hall allows maximum flexibility in how land is sold and organized, welcoming businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Santee Cooper has ensured that Camp Hall is committed to maintaining an environment that supports and encourages the natural habitat of coastal South Carolina. Nearly 28% of the entire site will be preserved land devoted to maintaining and improving wildlife habitats and the local ecosystem, with a “Pollinator Pathway” already blooming for birds, bees and butterflies. Camp Hall is restoring approximately 365 acres of wetlands, and more than 15 miles of a multi-use trail system will provide a place for the local workforce to walk, run and bike.

In 2019, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) recognized Camp Hall for its community involvement and environmental stewardship with its prestigious Community Star award.
