Santee Cooper Announces 2022 Fall and Winter Operating Hours for Pinopolis Lock

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Santee Cooper is shifting to its fall and winter operating hours for the Pinopolis Navigational Lock on Lake Moultrie at Jefferies Hydroelectric Station. Effective Sunday, Nov. 6, as daylight saving time ends, the lock will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or 30 minutes before sunset, whichever is earlier.

Please remember the lock system does not operate during inclement weather or rough water conditions. All parties are encouraged to call in advance at 843-899-LOCK (5625). Digital signage at the lock will display the current operating status.
