The current lessee should provide a written request to transfer the lease agreement giving the full name and mailing address of the new owner. Assignment of Lease forms will be provided by Santee Cooper and are to be filled out in duplicate original. Once the signed forms are received along with the assignment fee (this fee is based on the date of original lease) an inspection of the property will be conducted and if there are no problems with the inspection, assignment will be approved by Santee Cooper and a fully executed original will be returned to lessee or the designated attorney for recording. Please contact the Property Management Office for additional information or questions.
