Temporary Lane Closures Scheduled Monday Along Brownswood Road on Johns Island

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Santee Cooper will be performing construction work on Monday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Johns Island, requiring temporary lane closures at 950 Brownswood Rd. between Old Pond and Fickling Hill Road.

Traffic should only be temporarily delayed, and Santee Cooper will make every attempt to keep traffic disruption to a minimum. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, reduce speed when traveling through the area, and consider alternate routes, if possible, to avoid delays.

The construction is part of a transmission upgrade that will benefit residents of Johns Island. For information about the project, visit www.santeecooper.com/johnsisland.
