Attention Boaters: Santee Cooper Announces 2025 Summer Operating Hours for Pinopolis Lock

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Santee Cooper has announced its summer operating hours for the Pinopolis Navigational Lock on Lake Moultrie at Jefferies Hydroelectric Station. Effective immediately, the lock will open at 9 a.m., and all boaters MUST arrive at the lock no later than 6:30 p.m. to ensure passage.

Please remember the lock system does not operate during inclement weather or rough water conditions. All parties are encouraged to call in advance. The telephone number is 843-899-LOCK (5625).
