Santee Cooper to Hold Public Meeting on Resource Planning Initiatives

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Santee Cooper is holding a meeting on June 11 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. for the public to learn more about its resource planning initiatives. Santee Cooper’s 2023 IRP was submitted to the PSC in May 2023 and approved by the PSC in February 2024. Santee Cooper will be filing the next Triennial IRP this September.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be virtual to make it more convenient and accessible for all who are interested. The agenda will cover the 2026 load forecast, 2025 Market Potential Study results, resource planning initiatives and information on Santee Cooper’s IRP filings.
