Rate Stakeholder Meetings

Santee Cooper is committed to engaging with stakeholders as part of our regular rate review process. As part of this commitment, Santee Cooper will host a series of meetings to give customers and other stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about the rate review process and provide feedback. These meetings will cover a range of topics and will be scheduled strategically throughout the year.

Rates General Notice Meetings

Santee Cooper is expanding its engagement efforts to give all customers and stakeholders clear opportunities to learn about and provide input on retail rate adjustments. These general meetings are open to everyone and are designed to share information, answer questions, and gather feedback throughout the rate development process.

These efforts include general notice meetings, the formation of a stakeholder working group, and continual updates to and feedback from key stakeholder groups. See below for information related to each of these efforts.

Santee Cooper Rates Technical Working Group

Santee Cooper is committed to strengthening how we engage customers and stakeholders in developing our retail rates. While Act 90 of 2021 provides a formal path for input, we also recognize the need for a more consistent and structured process. To support that goal, Santee Cooper has created a technical working group composed of customers and organizations with deeper experience in rates and ratemaking.

The group serves as a focused forum to review rate concepts and provide meaningful feedback. Participation helps inform Santee Cooper’s decisions but does not imply support for any final rate proposal, and all members retain the right to express their views in future proceedings.

See below for the working group charter and materials for each meeting including the presentation and meeting summary.
