CCR Rule Compliance Data and Information
On April 17, 2015, the Environmental Protection Agency promulgated Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Subtitle D regulations regarding the management of Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) generated by electrical utilities. This Rule establishes standards for the management and disposal of CCR. Owners and operators of any CCR unit are required to establish and maintain a publicly accessible CCR internet site by the effective date of the rule which is October 19, 2015. This website is intended to satisfy this requirement for Santee Cooper’s CCR landfills and impoundments under the Rule.
