Below is more information on each available rate.
Small General Service
The small commercial rate, general service (GA), is a three-part rate that includes on-peak and off-peak energy charges, a customer charge and a demand charge. This rate is for small business customers that use 50kW or less in demand.
GA-25General Service
Our general service commercial rate (GB) is for business customers with a demand greater than 50 kW and less than or equal to 300 kW.
This rate includes on-peak and off-peak energy charges, a demand charge and a customer charge.
GB-25Large General Service
The large general service rate (GL) is for business customers with a demand greater 300 kW.
This rate includes on-peak and off-peak energy charges, a demand charge and a customer charge.
GL-25Other Commercial Rates
For example, for business customers that require temporary service for less than or equal to 12 months, we offer a temporary service rate (TP). The temporary rate includes on-peak and off-peak energy charges and a customer charge, but it does not include a demand charge.

We also have an experimental low load rate (GA-LL) for business customers with potential demand of 50 kW or less. This experimental rate is designed for businesses with low usage and/or load factor. The rate includes on-peak and off-peak energy charges and a customer charge, but it does not include a demand charge. As this is an optional rate for GA customers that use less than 50kW, not all customers will quality or benefit from this rate. GA-LL-25The GV rate is very similar to the GB rate; the only difference is GV has a slightly higher demand rate.
Our general service TOU rate is an alternative for GA, GB and GL for businesses with time-of-use pricing, where electricity costs more during peak hours and less during off-peak hours.
