Rate Study

How You Can Get Involved

Santee Cooper’s residential, commercial, industrial, municipal street lighting, and certain wholesale customers have the right to review the proposed rate schedules; appear and speak in person concerning the proposed rates at public meetings or the specified meetings of the Board of Directors; and submit written comments.

Santee Cooper has opened a public review and comment period, and we encourage customers to get involved by reviewing proposed rate schedules and appearing and speaking in public at a meeting or submitting written comments.

Written Comments

The deadline for submission of written comments is July 30, 2026, and the last meeting for oral comments is Aug. 31, 2026.

Santee Cooper will respond to reasonable questions and requests for information that we have received by the end of the oral comment period on Aug. 31. Santee Cooper’s response after Aug. 31 to any requests received by that date will not extend any of the stated deadlines for either written or oral comments.
