An ENERGY STAR® heat pump water heater is more energy efficient because it uses less energy to heat water. A $400 rebate is available to Santee Cooper customers who purchase and install a heat pump water heater. Rebates are available for single-family and multifamily homes.

Your contractor must have a South Carolina Plumbing Contractor’s License for you to qualify for a heat pump water heater rebate.
